Coburg Little Athletics Centre recently launched a fundraiser to raise money to support the flood victims in Regional Victoria and they have extended an invitation to the Metropolitan Little Athletics Community to join the fundraising effort.

Many Little Athletics Centres in Regional Victoria have been flooded and the athletes won’t get any competition for some weeks.

It all came pretty close to home for Coburg LAC in the city when the Maribyrnong burst its banks and flooded Essendon’s track. Thankfully Keilor LAC were able to host Essendon for competition and Coburg LAC hosted Essendon’s athletes for training at Coburg LAC while their track was cleared.

Coburg LAC are aiming to raise $10,000 for flood victims, so let’s all join together for this worthy cause by making a gold coin donation at our Club Combined Event today.
