Hello Team Caulfield. Fingers crossed for better weather for our Twilight Competition this Friday night. We will be hosting our friends from Oakleigh LAC, so please make sure our athletes introduce themselves in their age groups and make the Oakleigh athletes and any trial athletes feel welcome. A reminder that our Club Combined Event has been rescheduled to Saturday November 5.

Competition Week 5 – Friday Oct 28 (no competition on Saturday)
This Week’s Program
Friday night’s program is Twilight Program A.
• Warm Up starts at 5:25pm.
• Events start: 5:40pm. U12 Boys, U14-U17 Boys & Girls events start at 5:30pm.
• Under 6 (On Track) start at 5:40pm.
• Athletes must wear their competition patch.
• New members please see our Registrar Claire inside the clubrooms to collect your patch.

Pack Up Duty
U8 Girls this week.

Parent Duty
On arrival would you please ensure you sign in for duty at the duty desk and then report to your duty location. This allows us to identify any gaps in duty roles and to redirect resources accordingly to ensure a smooth running of the program. Parents who only have a child in U6 On Track are not required to nominate for duty.

Relays Are Back!
With a return to normality following several COVID impacted seasons, we welcome and encourage all U8-U17 Caulfield athletes to participate in relays this season.

Go to the Relays Portal for more information.

Weather
Athletics is an all weather sport. We will not train or compete in dangerous conditions including lightning events. Wet weather may also require modification to the planned program such as deferring hurdles and high jump. If a cancellation is required to training or competition, we will publish the cancellation 1 hour before the scheduled start time on our Facebook page and send an alert via Team App.

Get Active Kids Voucher Program
Little Athletics is covered by the Victorian Government Get Active Kids Vouchers which are open from 21 September–30 November 2022 for individual application of $200 grants.

Step by step instructions for families can be found HERE on the LAVic website.
